Our clinic now has a new tablet in the reception area. Patients are encouraged to use it when they arrive for medical appointments with their Primary Care Provider. We hope this will make the check-in process quick and easy for our patients and help to alleviate our front desk staff.
In consultation with your primary care provider, patients can now purchase the following vaccines at our clinic:
- Twinrix (Hepatitis A & B Vaccine)
- Shingrix (Shingles Vaccine)
- Gardsil9 (HPV Vaccine)
- Bexsero (Meningitis B Vaccine)
Preventive health aims to stop disease before it starts – by making your health and well-being a priority.
We ask that all eligible patients to be involved in their own preventative care by participating in breast screening (mammography), cervical screening (PAP test) and colorectal screening (FIT or colonoscopy). Eligible patients will automatically receive a letter from Ontario Health (Cancer Care Ontario) to:
- Invite them to participate in screening
- Remind them when it is time for their next screening test
- Tell them their screening test results
- Tell them what to do if they have an abnormal test result.
- More information can be found on their website: https://www.cancercareontario.ca/en/get-checked-cancer
When patients are screened regularly, we can detect pre-cancerous changes, or cancer at an early stage when there is a better chance of treating it successfully.

We are excited to welcome Dr. Karin Petersen to our team of physicians. Dr. Petersen comes to us from the Casselman Medical Centre and we are thrilled to have her join our clinic.
