Job Summary:
Nation Health Centre is currently looking for a part-time or full-time Physiotherapist for the provision of physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and care to patients residing in the Nation community and surrounding areas.
Essential Responsibilities:
- As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering physiotherapy services to clients including:
- Initiating and managing the assessment and treatment for restoring movement/function and pain management;
- Developing personalized exercise programs to develop and restore range of motion, strength, endurance, flexibility, and balance;
- Administering electrotherapy, prescribing and educating clients utilization of mobility aids, assistive devices and other equipment;
- Care coordination and collaboration with other professionals;
- Client care planning, charting, care conferences, discharge, and transition planning;
- Overseeing and coordinating the roles and functions of Physiotherapy Support Personnel, in conjunction with the broader care team;
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy;
- Registration with College of Physiotherapy of Ontario;
- CPR certification;
- ADP certified or willingness to become certified preferred;
- Strong physical assessment & treatment planning skills;
- Excellent time management and organizational skills;
- Ability to work independently, yet collaboratively as a member of a team;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- A commitment to best practices, quality, and client-centered care;
- 2-3 years clinical practice experience preferred;
- Experience with neuro and vestibular rehabilitation an asset;
- Bilingual (French and English) considered an asset

Friday - 8:00am to 4:00pm
Saturday - 9:00am to 12:00pm
Sunday - Closed
The clinic is closed between 12pm and 1pm for the lunch hour
